What is a Trust ?
A trust is an agreement made between two parties, who are called the Settlor and the Trustee. Through this agreement, the person called the Settlor transfers the legal ownership of assets he holds, to the Trustee, for the benefit of a third party. This third party is called the Beneficiary. |

Why should one setup a Trust ? Estate Planning A Trust allows more flexibility than a will and is preferred by many as a tool for estate planning. Protection of the Family Some members of the family need more protection than others, especially if they are disabled or suffer from a condition which prevents them from taking care of themselves. A Trust ensures that these children will have protection even after the death of their parents. |
